Co-designers: -
Grade: 8.5

Project description
This project revolved around discovering the connection between art and architecture. Using different mediums, and through various workshops, a sofa, designed by the Campana brothers, evolved in an architectural structure. During the process, sketches, paintings, wooden sculptures, posters and renders were used to design a final structure.
Reflection
During this course, I could really embrace my love for art and creating. The process allowed me to freely explore new ways of communicating and visualising concepts such as mood boards and abstract paintings. I was pleasantly surprised how well abstract visuals can communicate an ambiance or give a general idea regarding shape and composition, forcing me to think about the essence of an aesthetic and the ambiance that it brings.
There were also various hard skills that I developed during this course, such as woodworking, graphic designing, and working with plaster.
