Project name: “HabitHealer: Your Personal Assistance to Deal with Emotional Eating”
Co-designers: Xiaoyu Wang, Jay Kolvenbag, Andrea Polo, Erlin Sotnikova
Grade: 6.9
Expertise Areas: US / BE
Project description
This course was heavily driven by theory; various behavioural change theories were discussed such as the Transtheoretical Model (Velicer et al., 1998) and the Self Determination Theory (Hagger et al., 2020) . Using these theories, a mobile app was created to help change emotional eating behaviour.

Reflection
This course provided me with theory that supports my vision: making people more aware of their surroundings and the things they interact with, therefore aiming to change their behaviour. Going into the theoretical side of behavioural change made me step out of my comfort zone as I usually work hands-on, however I believe that this theoretical base allows me to back up my concepts greatly.
