Side table - 2024
Description
I designed a side table using leftover wooden planks and metal beams. The table has a slotting mechanism so the table can be disassembled when moving.
What have I learned?
This side project challenged me to use the materials at hand and come up with a way to implement all left over pieces. During the process, I learned how to work with the circle saw and the belt sander. This was also a small introduction to metalworking. I really liked how sturdy and rigid metal can be, but it also requires heavier machinery to work with it.
